Students at four area schools will have access to additional personal hygiene supplies this school year following a donation on August 25, 2026, of more than 2,600 items from Women in NAACP (WIN) of the NAACP Arcadia-Bienville Branch 61AD-B.
The committee distributed 24 boxes of hygiene products among Cypress Springs Elementary, Crawford Elementary, Arcadia High School and Gibsland-Coleman. Each school received six boxes containing more than 650 items.
The donations are part of WIN’s School-Aged Initiative and are intended to provide students with practical support that can positively impact their confidence, attendance and academic performance.
Contributions for this project were provided primarily through individual donations from our WIN committee members.
