The Arcadia-Bienville Branch of the NAACP proudly congratulates Ms. Sheryl Townsend on receiving the “Champion of the Cause Award” at the 84th NAACP Louisiana State Conference in Baton Rouge. Ms. Townsend chairs the WIN (Women In NAACP) committee as well as the Legal Redress Committee.
This honor recognizes her dedication to advocacy, service, and expanding opportunities for others. Her commitment reflects the NAACP’s mission of advancing justice and equality and strengthening our communities. The 84th NAACP Louisiana State Conference, was held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on October 24, 2026.
